Krakathon 2016 : our technical director wins this coding contest !

Saturday 22th et Sunday 23th october, 12 teams of developers participated in the first non-stop Krakathon in Mauritius. After the show of the group Skeptikal and a few minutes of explanations, the contest began at 1pm on Saturday at La Turbine, Vivea Business Park, Moka. What was the goal ? Realise in 24 hours the maximum of coding* exercises which mixed logical, algorithms, development and security.

The victory of Krakathon must be earned. After one night of hard fight, Team 42 – with the participation of Patrick Morin, our Technical Director, – won the contest with 8 450 points, distributed by a jury which verified the code and its good functioning. 

 

Congratulations to the ForceCoders team too ! They won the second place of this coding contest with 7 525 points, followed by the Rubix team with 7 050 points. Esokia is proud to have contributed to this event which gathered numbers of developers of different levels. Congratulations again to all of the treasures hunters and especially to our Technical Director !
